The said strike which was rumored to begin on the 2nd of October 2016 will not hold, according to Dr Ben Ugheoke who happens to be the Chairman of the University of Abuja chapter of ASUU.
Dr Ben Ugheoke claims to have been misquoted by a reporter at the Nigerian News Agency.
He also used the medium to urge the general public not to take any news about the commencement of the strike serious.
