Bamidele O. Samson (Chairman BOVAS Group)
Architect
Bamidele O. Samson, is a co-founder of BOVAS Group. He studied in Nigeria and
Europe and lectured briefly at the University of Ibadan and the Polytechnic,
Ibadan, before joining Design Group, from where he retired to start the
Bovasgroup. He is an eminent Rotarian, a Justice of Peace and an Architectural
Consultant of repute. Prince Akanbi obtained a B.Sc. Business Administration
from George Brown College, Toronto, Ontario (2005-2009), Ordinary National
Diploma in Mass Communication from The Polytechnic Ibadan (1985-87),
Certificate in Cybis & Axis System, Convergys Institute, Halifax, Nova
Scotia in Canada (2001-2005) and Seismic certificate in Operations, Oil and Gas
Processing Facilities (2005).
Yomi Otaigbe Oriyomi
Mary Otaigbe is a Broadcast Journalist and Senior Reporter/Presenter with the award- winning Channels Television.
Aside from the coverage of other topical subjects, Yomi has been passionate in reporting Health issues and Policies for over a decade on the domestic and international scenes including the coverage of the meeting of World Health Assembly, the decision-making body of the World Health Organization in Geneva, Switzerland.
Yomi has covered numerous public health challenges and was in the thick of things during the Ebola outbreak in Nigeria in 2014. She reported on preventive measures and activities from the Ebola Emergency Operation center located at the Central Public Health Laboratory Building in Yaba, Lagos, the First Consultant Medical Center, Obalende and other areas where News came from until Nigeria successfully contained the disease. Yomi Otaigbe holds a HND,Upper Credit in Mass Communication from The Polytechnic, Ibadan and she is also a graduate of Broadcast Journalism from the New York Film Academy.
Hon. Abiodun Dada Awoleye
He was born on October 1,
1970. He is an indigene of Oyo State. He is a member of the Federal House of
Representative representing Ibadan North Federal Constituency. He attended Oba
Akinyele Memorial High School where he obtained his Senior School
Certificate(SSCE) in 1988. He proceeded to Ibadan State Polytechnic, Oyo State
where he got his Ordinary National Diploma(OND) in 1994 and proceeded further
for his Higher National Diploma(HND) which he obtained in 1999.
Tope Alabi
She hails from Yewa, Imeko of Ogun
State. She obtained her West Africa School Certificate (WAEC) at Oba Akinyele
Memorial High School, Bashorun Anlugbua, Ibadan in the year 1986. Thereafter,
she proceeded to The Polythecnic , Ibadan where she studied Mass Communication
and graduated in the year 1990. Tope Alabi pursued her educational attainment with
all seriousness and dedication it deserves because her parents were
disciplinarians of the highest order.
Mercy Aigbe
Mercy was born
on the 1st of January, 1979 as a second child in a family of five at Edo State,
Nigeria, Aigbe schooled at the Polytechnic, Ibadan where she had her OND in
Financial Studies went on to the University of Lagos in 2001 for a degree in
Theater Arts Yomi Otaigbe holds a HND,Upper Credit in Mass Communication from
The Polytechnic, Ibadan and she is also a graduate of Broadcast Journalism from
the New York Film Academy.
Governor Aregbesola (Governor, Osun State)
He had his primary and secondary education in Ondo State, and later attended The Polytechnic, Ibadan, where he studied Mechanical Engineering and graduated in 1980
Toyin Aimakhu
She was born on September 5, 1984 at Auchi, a town in Edo State in southern Nigeria but spent her early life in Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State in southwestern Nigeria. She obtained a Higher National Diploma certificate in marketing from Ibadan polytechnic same class with Dibie, C.B.N aka x7 before she proceeded to Olabisi Onabanjo University, where she received a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in philosophy.
King Saheed Osupa
Saheed Osupa started his primary school education at Saint Mary’s Primary School, Ajegunle, Lagos and his secondary school education at Amuwo Odofin High School, Mile 2, Lagos where he graduated in 1987. In 1992, he completed his National Diploma programme at The Polytechnic, Ibadan after studying Business Administration. He is also an alumnus of the American International College where he studied Networking Operations.
Segun Odegbami
Odegbami won 46 caps and scored 23 goals for the National Team, and guided Nigeria to its first Africa Cup of Nations title at the 1980 tournament in his homeland. Nicknamed Mathematical, he was famous for his skill on the ball, speed and precision of his crosses from the right wing. He played for IICC Shooting Stars of Ibadan his entire career, from 1970 to 1984. His last game was the 1984 African Champions Cup final defeat to Zamalek of Egypt. The original source of the nickname "Mathematical" was because Segun Odegbami attended and was graduated from Nigeria's premier technical institution, The Polytechnic, Ibadan. He studied Engineering.
Otunba Gbenga Daniel (Former Ogun State governor)
He attended the Baptist Boys High School, Abeokuta from 1969 to 1973, followed by studies at The Polytechnic, Ibadan
Governor Ayodele Fayose (Ekiti State governor)
Fayose is a native of Afo Ekiti in Irepodun/Ifelodun Local Government Area of Ekiti State, born on the November 15, 1960. Peter Ayodele Fayose attended Saint Leo’s Catholic Primary School, Ibadan. After his primaeducation, he schooled at Olivet Baptist High School, Oyo, and earned his West African School Certificate in the year 1979. Around 1984, Peter Ayodele Fayose ran a two-years Ordinary National Diploma (OND) program in Science Laboratory Technology at Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro. He furthered his Diploma program and obtained a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Biological Sciences from the same Polytechnic in Ibadan.
Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi (Ooni of Ife)
He attended the prestigious Loyola College, Ibadan in 1985, led by Reverend G.B Daramola, the principal of the college. He later proceeded to Ile Ife at Saint Peter’s Secondary School, Omi Okun, Ile Ife led by Late Johnson Adebisi. He holds a Higher National Diploma in Accountancy from the Polytechnic Ibadan, where he started cutting his teeth in outstanding entrepreneurship, even as a student. To mention a few, the royal prince of Ile-Ife (the source) is a member of some dignified professional bodies namely; Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), an Associate Accounting Technician and a certified member of the Institute of Directors (IOD) Nigeria. He is also an active member of the Global Real Estate Institute (GRI) having participated at various levels.
