UMYU 2016/2017 UTME/DE Admission Screening Exercise Is Now On
Candidates who have applied for admission into the Umaru Musa Yar’adua University, Katsina are hereby invited to visit the University website,
www.umyu.edu.ng, to extract full details of the procedure for the UMYU 2016/2017 admission screening exercise.
ELIGIBILITY
Candidates must have:
• Scored a minimum of 180 marks in the 2015 UTME (or applied for DE);
• Obtained Five (5) Credits in relevant ‘O ’ Level subjects (including English Language and Mathematics), at not more than two sittings.
STEPS TO APPLY
- Logon to www.umyu.edu.ng Or http://portal.umyu.edu.ng/application/
- Read the Qualification Criteria.
- Click on 'Register' above to fill the registration form.
- NOTE: Registration is to be done once. If you have registered before just Login to continue filling your form.
- On successful registration, you will receive a success email from 'The Umaru Musa Yar'adua University'.
- Click on 'Login' to login, then you can start filling the forms.
- Edit your Application Profile (This will require a passport photo and your biodata).
- Edit your Institution Attended.
- Edit your Qualifications (WASSCE, and other Certificates are entered here).
- Select your choice of Course.
- Edit/Upload Documents (Attach your Certificates here). The next section (Declaration and submission of form) will not be displayed untill all sections have been filled correctly.
- Print your Exam Card.
- Please keep checking to confirm if you name is short listed
SCREENING SCHEDULE
The screening exercise will be conducted as follows:
On-line registration of candidates: all candidates (both UTME and DE candidates) who have applied for admission into the University are required to register online between Wednesday 10th August to Sunday 4thSeptember, 2016 via
http://portal.umyu.edu.ng/application/
List of shortlisted candidates, those who have met the entry requirements, including subject combination, from among those that have registered on-line will be displayed on the website and the candidates will be invited for screening upon payment of a screening fee of two thousand five hundred (N2,500.00) naira only.
Shortlisted candidates will thereafter be informed of their screening test schedules and other requirements as from 12th September, 2016.
